When we moved to Monmouth top of my daughter’s wish list was to join a ballet school. I love the way Miss Salmon’s sessions combine a professional atmosphere, gentle discipline and the highest standard of teaching with the warmest of welcomes. My daughter works hard at class, but never feels pressured and always emerges after 45 minutes with a huge smile on her face.

My older son – who loves to dance, but had never ever dared join a class –  was invited to a try out, then welcomed into a creative class and is transformed by the experience. Wednesday’s dance classes are one of the highlights of their week.

Poppy has thoroughly enjoyed her first term at Monnow Ballet. She has chatted throughout the summer holidays about returning in September.  I will always fondly remember her first ‘stay and watch’ session and just wish I had remembered the camera!

Monnow Ballet is great fun, I see my friends and it helps me with my Royal Ballet training.

I just wanted to write and let you know how much we love your new dance school.  Your lessons are always fun and full of encouragement.  Megan loves being taught by you.  Her ballet has improved over the last couple of months which I am sure is down to your disciplined but fun classes.  As a parent I very much appreciate you keeping us informed with whatever is going on and also with your organisation and professionalism and  I was very pleased to get your written report on Megan’s progress.
