Drama skills in abundance!  Ballet requires telling a story as well as good technique.  So no surprise that a lot of Monnow Ballet Students have a great interest in drama as well.

Miss Salmon went to support some of the senior students at a local production of Matilda the Musical, what a fantastic evening!

Here’s Daisy being a wonderfully bubbly librarian – where did the shy Daisy go – nobody knows!

Huge congrats to Bethan for being accepted as a Junior Associate with the Royal Ballet School! She has worked incredibly hard and we are all very proud.

Bethan joins our senior student Bree as being an associate with both Elmhurst Ballet School and the Royal Ballet School. Busy weekends ahead for them both!

December 2022

Big congratulations to all the children who danced in our xmas production of the Sleeping Beauty.  Everyone danced brilliantly including the soldiers, fairies, cheeky jesters, forest creatures and some rather scary rats with full rat heads!  It all came together thanks to some amazingly helpful parents and the audience was wowed, well done children!

This was our first production inside after Covid and to keep things going a lot of the seniors learnt double parts in case of illness, a really big special well done to them all.
