Auditions

Monnow Ballet students are valued whatever their level and ability.  Some who show a lot of promise and commitment are encouraged to audition for weekend associate classes with Ballet Cymru, Elmhurst and The Royal Ballet.  These are very competitive and those who get in sometimes then choose to audition for vocational training at age 11+.

Others take other routes and still get to vocational training age 16/18+. 

We have, so far, had students offered associate and or vocational training at Central School of Ballet, Mountview,  Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst Ballet School, Ballet Cymru and Tring Park School for the Performing Arts.

We have also had some children awarded dance scholarships to Haberdashers Monmouth School for Girls at age 11+.
