Performances

We try to make the most of performance opportunities, usually something small at the end of term and then something bigger in a local theatre every other year.  With Covid-19, we took our performances outside, performing at Usk Castle and the grounds of the Priory Care home, Llandogo, with some lovely family picnics too.

Ballets are usually our own take on a traditional ballet or something more modern, depending on what the children are most suited to in that year.

We have so far had great fun with The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Coppélia, Snow White, Alice in Wonderland and A Christmas Carol, as well as choreography competitions and class work demonstrations.

Performing is always optional, most children love to join in but some prefer to watch and enjoy the atmosphere.
