HOLIDAY CLASSES

Students are kept informed of day/residential holiday courses run by all sorts of companies and vocational schools including Royal Academy of Dance, Ballet Cymru, Royal Ballet, Elmhurst and Rambert.  It can be a wonderful opportunity to improve technique and just enjoy dancing with new students and teachers from around the country and beyond.

Approaching exams Miss Salmon usually offers group/private syllabus practise in our local halls for those that want to keep their knowledge going over the long holidays.

For junior students (5-11yrs), Miss Salmon is also running ‘Dance Your Art Out‘ holiday workshops.

Two day local mini camps at affordable prices for those that would like to explore their creative sides. This is run jointly with Mari Hutchings from The Painty Place.

Rather than classical ballet, it is more modern/creative dance and choreographic skills, suitable for all levels.  With guided art sessions alongside and some scrummy brownies for break times!

All very relaxed, children who might be a little too shy to attend large holiday events should feel comfortable, as numbers are limited and there is no public performance.
