Fabulous performances of our summer show, Alice in Wonderland. Our seniors enjoyed dancing for the residents of the Priory Care Home, Llandogo. And most of us got together at the stunning Usk Castle for a whole school performance the week after.
We even had a guest solo by ex pupil Dawid, currently studying full time at Elmhurst Ballet School, as our breakdancing Ace of Clubs! We had smiling faces all round, lots of bunting and family picnics. A lovely end to a tricky year.
Congrats to Bethan who has been accepted onto the Elmhurst Young Dancers programme starting in Sept.
Congrats also to Bree for being accepted onto another year at Elmhurst Young Dancers and also gaining a place onto the Royal Ballet Junior Associate programme.

Also congrats to Carys for being accepted into another year of Ballet Cymru Mid Associates.
Well done to Jasmine for being accepted on to the pre-associate programme at Ballet Cymru.
Nothing like a bit of outdoor learning for practising for our summer performance!
How do you create a final position for a tea party dance..?! Answer = get a giant teacup!
Great to be back in the studio! School class bubbles are kept together, or students stay 2m apart in their own ballet box. Some classes continuing online as they work well for the older students as convenient extra classes.
Everyone is doing brilliantly learning at home. Positive attitudes and commitment to their ballet is just wonderful to see.
All Classes Back to Online
We’ve got this though – we know how to have productive fun lessons whilst staying safely at home doing our bit.
Nothing better than a ballet class to start the day. Full of smily faces and fantastic dancing. In junior ballet, we learnt our new pirate dance, optional dress up next week.
Thinking of all my lovely ballet families, whether homeschooling or out at work. Keep checking emails and Facebook for ideas to keep the kids happily dancing throughout the week.
Stay safe all x
Summer Dance Club
Most summers Miss Salmon runs holiday sessions for younger students (6yrs+). These consist of some ballet technique classes and also choreography sessions to create a fun performance for family and friends. Children are encouraged to be as creative as possible and to help with costumes and props. For more details contact Miss Salmon.
INTENSIVE BALLET COURSES
Intensive ballet courses are run for older students studying vocational grades and also for younger students who wish to continue their ballet in the holidays, all taught by Miss Salmon. These are usually two full days and cover syllabus work as well as conditioning exercises. Please enquire for further details.
